Greenfield Cooperative Bank Vice President – Commercial Lending, Adam Baker, Selected for BusinessWest’s 40 Under Forty Class of 2023
Greenfield Cooperative Bank is proud to announce that Adam Baker, Vice President – Commercial Lending, has been selected as one of the honorees for BusinessWest’s 40 Under Forty class of 2023. BusinessWest is a leading business publication in Western Massachusetts that recognizes the success and contributions of 40 outstanding young professionals under the age of 40 each year. The honorees are chosen based on their business accomplishments as well as their philanthropic involvement and community service.
Adam Baker has been a valuable member of the commercial lending team for many years in a row, contributing significantly to the Bank’s continued success. He has been instrumental in growing the bank’s commercial lending portfolio and expanding its presence in the region.
In addition to his work at Greenfield Cooperative Bank, Adam is Managing member/owner of Alpal Properties LLC which owns and manages a significant portfolio of investment real estate. 20% of the profits from this business are donated directly to local non-profits.
Adam has also been actively involved in various community organizations, such as Lighthouse Personalized Education for Teens, Inc., Empty Arms Bereavement Support, Inc., and Horizons for Homeless Children, Inc. In addition to volunteering his time, he also serves on numerous boards.
He is a graduate of UMass Amherst, and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern New Hampshire University. He was also nominated by Greenfield Cooperative Bank’s President and CEO to attend the accelerated program of American Bankers Association – Stonier Graduate School of Banking held at the University of Pennsylvania. His program completion and graduation is to take place in June of 2023.
